The program was organized to share the journey and future plans with participating colleges, schools, and our partners. The project was supported by Freudenberg Gala, Adas and Help for Children in Need. There were around 106 participants which comprised of principals of colleges and schools, representatives of NGOs, individual activists, existing Green Catalyst members, and new Green Catalysts. The event was introduced and then Mrs. Manisha Patel, Coordinator of Green Catalyst Program invited the guest of honor on stage and introduced them to the audience. All the guests were acknowledged by Green Catalysts with a Tulsi plant. Mr. Mahesh Pandya, Director of Paryavaran Mitra extended his thanks to the guests for their remarkable presence, all the colleges and schools who had been a part of Green Catalyst program and Mrs. Manisha Patel who has given an excellent presentation on Green Catalyst program and its future plans.
Thereafter, she invited Green Catalysts Viral and Siddharth to give a presentation and share their experiences. Other Green Catalysts were also invited to share their experience and to acknowledge each other’s skills and advantages.
After this, Viral invited Mr. Martin to share his experience and vision for the Green Catalyst program. He appreciated Green Catalyst for their work and proposed an interest to take this platform to the National level. Mr. George came forward to share his thoughts about this program and congratulated Green Catalyst team for their valuable work. All the members of Green Catalyst were invited on the stage to receive the “Green Catalyst Award” at the hands of the guest Mr. Gagan Shethi, Mr. Martin and Mr. George. Guest of Honor, Mr. Gagan Shethi was invited on the stage to share his knowledge and experience stating that “The way development is going in India it needs a green party which is in making”. At the end, a vote of thanks was given by Mr. Mahesh Pandya followed by lunch.
